Pre-K Registration Information – 2026-2027 School Year

Plattsburgh City School District is excited to provide strong learning programs for our littlest hornets!

Who is eligible for Pre-K?

Pre-k students must live in the Plattsburgh City School District and be four years old on or before December 1, 2026. A child who is age eligible for kindergarten may not attend the pre-k program.

Where are classes held and what is the schedule?

It is anticipated that Glasgow Elementary will have two classrooms and Momot Elementary School will have one pre-k classroom.  The pre-k program follows the school district calendar.

Times:

Glasgow: 8:35-2:30
Momot: 8:25-2:25

How are students selected?

In the event that there are more applicants than available spaces, student placements will be determined through the use of a random lottery process that will take place on May 4, 2026.  Those not selected through the lottery process will be placed on a waiting list.

How will I be notified that my child was selected for the program?

All families who submit the interest form by the deadline (May1, 2026) will receive acceptance/declination email by May 12, 2026.

How do I sign my child up for the pre-k program? Fill out the form:
