There will be a Public Hearing on this proposed amendment to the District Safety Plan on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 7 PM as part of the monthly School Board of Education meeting at Oak Street Elementary. A public comment period is now open (plattscsd.org) on a proposed amendment to the District Safety Plan for the 2025-26 year. The amendment addresses the recently enacted Desha's Law pertaining to cardiac response plans; full text of the proposed amendment can be found on the district website. Public comments can be emailed (sosborne@plattscsd.org) or dropped off to Scott Osborne, Director of Management at the Duken Administrative Building.
