Today is Wednesday, May 11th, and it is a B -Day!

TODAY there is no AFTERNOON CVTECH. All pm Tech students must exit the building at 11:45.
The Golf Team will be released early today at 1:45pm today
A reminder that tomorrow, Thursday May 12th, is an early release day. School will be dismissed at 11:33 am. All PM CVTECH students will need to get a ride to and from CVTECH.
Attention Senior Athletes: If you have not yet turned in your RSVP for this year’s senior sports banquet, you must do so as soon as possible. The deadline is Monday May 23rd, no exceptions. There is a form for you to fill out, and for your family members if they plan on attending. Please turn in your forms to Ms. Malpass in the main office a.s.a.p.
A special shout out goes to our amazing Unified Basketball players and coaches for their performance at Peru school on Monday! Your PHS family is very proud of you all and loved seeing you on the local news-keep it up superstars!!!!!!!!!!!!
There will be an Adventure Club Meeting today in room 106 right after school to discuss the details of the last trip, all are welcome to attend!
The library will be in Silent Library mode. Come to the library to study, work, or destress but please keep your voice at a level 0 while you do!
Good morning! The Junior Class Prom tickets will be sold from Mr. Bowlen’s office across from the guidance office. The tickets are $20 a person.
If you are interested in inviting a guest that doesn’t attend PHS you will need to fill out a form. They are located outside the office. Mr. Valenzuela or Mr. Bowlen have to approve your guest for him or her to attend.

Mental Health Month raises awareness of trauma and the impact it can have on the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of children, families, and communities. Mental Health Month was established in 1949 to increase awareness of the importance of mental health and wellness in Americans’ lives, and to celebrate recovery from mental illness. Mental health is essential for a person’s overall health. Prevention works, treatment is effective, and people can recover from mental disorders and live full and productive lives…….Healing takes time and asking for help is a courageous step. – Mariska Hargitay
