Today is Wednesday, June 8th and it is a B-day!

The last meeting of our CFES Scholar group will be tomorrow at 2:50 in Ms. LaPierre’s room. That’s room 221. Hope to see you there!
Attention boys soccer players. There will be a mandatory summer soccer meeting this Thursday June 9th at 2:50 in Room 249. All interested in playing must attend or see Coach LaRose in person if not able to attend. Schedules will be passed out at the meeting.
There will be an important FINAL GAPP meeting this year on Monday June 13th. All GAPP members please make every effort to attend! Also bring your permission slips for hosting in the fall!!
Once again, this year, we will be having a class speaker at Graduation. If you are interested in giving a speech at Graduation, please submit a typed speech to Ms. Rose in the Guidance Office by June 14, 2022 at 3:00 pm. Speeches will be judged anonymously, please refrain from personalizing your speech that would make it easy to identify who the author is. The chosen speaker will be announced at the Senior Ball.
The committee reserves the right to not have a class speaker in the event it is warranted.
There will be a meeting for students interested in playing Football next season. The meeting will be today, in the Gymnasium. See Coach Bordeau for more information.
Senior Ball tickets are on sale in Ms. Fresn’s room. The cost of the tickets are $25.00. If you are bringing a guest from outside of school, please fill out and return a blue “Dance Guest Contract” form. The forms can be found outside of the office.
Stop by the health office to sign up for a fall sport and to get the paperwork needed for your August sports clearance.
Public Speaking will be taking in place in Room 226 Lecture Hall lasting through June 14th during 1st period.
The Key Club Induction Ceremony will take place Thursday, June 9th immediately after school in room 226. All members must attend.
Tickets for Mary Poppins performances, June 9-12, are on sale daily in the Health Office. Come to see our Drama Club students and see a few of our PHS teachers perform! Get your tickets before they sell out, you won’t want to miss it!
From today until June 14th, 9th period Study Hall with Madame Yadollahpour should report to the Cafeteria.
A reminder to all students that June 8th is Pride Day at PHS. The Student Association and Equalosity invite all members of the PHS community to join in celebrating the struggles and accomplishments of the LGBTQ+ community and allies by wearing your favorite pride gear. That’s Wednesday, June 8th. Wear your colors with pride!
“Need a shirt to honor pride day? Bring a pre-washed white T-shirt to Room 238 any period on Tuesday or Wednesday. You can screen print your own pride or ally shirt. The shirts will take around 5 min to make and 10 min to be dry enough to take with you.”
