Today is an A-Day.

Happy Birthday wishes today to Alexa Leavine and Zachary Marotta!

Just a reminder that all Seniors interested in Late Sign in and/or Early Release must submit your form signed by both Parent/Guardian AND by Administration.  Spring Semester begins Monday, January 30th. This may take a day or two for processing, therefore you must wait until Guidance Office makes the final adjustments in your schedule.  Thank you

The library will be closed today and Thursday due to Regent testing. Library staff will be available in the guidance office to assist students in need of loaner laptops or who need tech help.

The Green Team will have a meeting after school today in Room 316. New members and ideas are always welcome.

We will be starting softball clinics for JV and Varsity Softball this Sunday the 29th from 8:00-9:30. You need to bring your glove and clean sneakers to wear in the gym. All who want to try are welcome. Coach McMahon and Coach Walker are looking forward to seeing you.

Attention Juniors, if you would like to learn more about opportunities exploring the world of engineering and technology there is a Junior Experience Day coming up for the New Visions Applied Engineering program on February 2nd, 2023- please contact your school counselor by January 26th if you would like to attend!

The weather forecast for Friday and Saturday features atypical, concerning cold weather.  As you know, our district features a mix of modes of student commute to school, and a robust slate of co-curricular activities which are scheduled throughout the coming days.

Given the dangerous temperatures which are predicted, school on Friday, February 3rd, 2023 is cancelled, and an emergency closure day will be used.

Typically, when such emergency closures are made, co-curricular activities are similarly-cancelled.  For the most part, this will still be the case, but certain pre-arranged co-curricular activities will be allowed to proceed, so long as additional layers of safety/student protection are applied.  These considerations have been addressed with the Advisors.  So, unless students and parents receive a different communication from the Coach/Advisor, co-curricular activities are also cancelled tomorrow evening (February 3rd), and on Saturday, February 4th.
