Today is an A-Day.

Happy Birthday wishes today to Jack Ferris!

Sophomores attending tomorrow’s career day at CV-TEC will meet at the taj entrance by the gym with Mrs. Tisdale after first period to catch the buses.

The library will be closed on Friday while we host a Speed Date with a Book event!! Students will have the opportunity to come down with participating English classes to get matched up with a book and live happily ever after. See the PHS Library Team for details or reach out to Ms. Nadge with questions.

We will be starting softball clinics for JV and Varsity Softball this Sunday the 19th and Sunday February 26^th from 8:00-9:30. You need to bring your glove and clean sneakers to wear in the gym. All who want to try, are welcome. Coach McMahon and Coach Walker look forward to seeing you.

Spring sports clearances begin this week. You can stop by the Health Office to pick up your paperwork. Today we are clearing for Softball. If you are interested in playing softball, come to the health office today for your clearance.

Multicultural Club is selling Krispy Kreme donuts. The cost will be $12.00 a dozen. They are on sale until March 15^th. Orders must be paid in full at time of ordering via cash or checks made out to the PHS Multicultural Club. The Krispy Crème donuts will be available for pickup on March 17 beginning at 2:40pm-at the outside entrance to the Auditorium. Please support our trip to Italy and Greece. Find a member to purchase them. There will also be a stand outside Madame Yadollahpour’s room on Tuesdays and Thursdays if you’re interested in purchasing them.

The Coin Drop Championship concludes today at 3:20 pm. Thank you all for backing your teachers and may the most deserving team win!

AFTERNOON ANNOUNCEMENTS

Congratulations to Cohen Fitzwater for winning the 100 Freestyle at the Section 7 & 10 championship meet.With that win, Cohen qualified for the State championship meet to be held in Ithaca on March 3rd.

This past Sunday, the Section 7 & 10 combined swimming Championships were held at SUNY Potsdam. Cohen Fitzwater Placed 3rd place in the 50-yard Freestyle with a lifetime best time of :24.43. Cohen then won the 100 freestyle with a lifetime best time of :54.95. With this win Cohen qualified for the State Championship Meet that will be held at Ithaca University on March 3rd. Cohen completed his championship meet with a second-place finish in the 200 Freestyle relay and the 400 Freestyle relay.
