Attention Peer Mentors trained by Mr. Mazzella-There will be a meeting on Friday, February 3rd during 6th period. Please be in Ms. LaPierre’s room by noon. You can grab your lunch first if you need to. See Ms. LaPierre if you do NOT have 6th period lunch by the end of the day on Thursday for a pass.

The Sophomore Class will be selling Donuts after school today at 2:40pm in the Cafeteria. Donuts are $3, or 2 for $5 each, with many fun varieties to choose from. Flavors such as Hornet Spirit, Cocoa Pebbles, Fruity Pebbles and Hop Donuts. Stop by with cash to support the Class of 2025.

The Junior Prom Theme voting will occur on the Class of 2023 Teams beginning Thursday at 8:00am and ending Friday at 2pm. The Prom choices are the Roaring 20’s, Garden Rendezvous, and Enchanted Forest.

“Listen up PHS: The annual PHS GAPP Coin Drop Championship commences tomorrow.  Coin drop collection carts will be available in the main hallway for any donations the school community wishes to give.  Please see your teachers or Frau Klimkiewicz for details and may the best teacher win!”

Hello PHS!  For the next few Fridays, please support Friday Hat Days to raise funds so Ms. McCord’s Mythology students can see Hadestown, a Broadway show about the gods. We will get to see the Fates, Orpheus, Eurydice, Hades, and Persephone, and, of course, Hermes take the stage!  Donate a dollar and wear your favorite school-appropriate hat!  Help PHS get to Hadestown!  Please bring in donations and give to your homeroom teacher.  Any and all donations are greatly appreciated.  Thank you! Dates for Hat Day Friday Feb.3 and Feb. 10.

Starting next week, Model UN will be meeting every Monday and Tuesday to prepare for the February 16th Beekmantown Model UN Meet.

We will be starting softball clinics for JV and Varsity Softball this Sunday, February 5th from 8:00-9:30. You need to bring your glove and clean sneakers to wear in the gym. All who want to try out are welcome. Coach McMahon and Coach Walker are looking forward to seeing you.

Just a reminder that all Seniors interested in Late Sign in and/or Early Release must submit your form signed by both Parent/Guardian AND by Administration.  Spring Semester begins Monday, January 30th. This may take a day or two to process, therefore you must wait until the Guidance Office makes the final adjustments to your schedule.  Thank you.

Attention Juniors, if you would like to learn more about opportunities exploring the world of engineering and technology there is a Junior Experience Day coming up for the New Visions Applied Engineering program on February 2nd, 2023- please contact your school counselor by January 26th if you would like to attend!
