MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Today is Tuesday, October 4, 2022 and it is an A-day!

Happy Birthday wishes to Marissa Goldsmith and Justina Lin!

A reminder that today CVTECH has an Early Release Day. There are no Classes in the afternoon. Therefore, morning CVTECH students are not impacted but all afternoon CVTECH students will have to go home instead of going to afternoon CVTECH.

Tuesday night is our annual FAFSA night in room #226 starting at 6:00. Parents will be presented with important financial aid information and a opportunity to complete the FAFSA application on site. For our college bound students, getting this part of the process completed is a HUGE stress reliever! Please join us for this informative meeting.

Juniors and Seniors…a reminder that this Wednesday, October 5th is COLLEGE NIGHT at the Plattsburgh State field house from 6:30-8:00. There will be admission representatives from 70+ colleges and universities there so be sure to come and check out the many options available if college is in your future! Hope to see you there😊

Good morning PHS! Do you like Krispy Kreme Donuts? If so, please support multicultural club’s fundraising event to support trip to Italy & Greece. Please place your order now with any multicultural club members until October 20. Your orders will be available for pick up on Saturday 10/22 at the entrance to the auditorium. You pay $10 per dozen. Payment is due at the time of order. Please pay with cash or check made out to PHS-Multicultural Club. Thank you for your support.

It’s back! One of the best events of the homecoming season, the CSO Scavenger Hunt! The scavenger hunt will be held on October 7th at 8:30 pm. This year there will be a strict sign-up policy. Each team may only have 4 members and 1 parent driver. The cost for each team will be a $20 donation to CSO. You can pick up and drop off your permission slips and donation to Mrs. Bouayadi or Mrs. Relation at any point in the day. All permission slips MUST BE IN BY THURSDAY OCTOBER 6th at 3:00 pm.  In addition to pure bragging rights, mega prizes will be awarded.

Equalosity is a student-run club aimed at providing an inclusive, safe network of support and self-empowerment. We support each other in our concerns about harassment, gender roles, and lifestyle choices. We share resources, learn together, and have fun. We meet on Mondays right after school in Room 209. Please come to our next meeting Monday to meet us and find out more!”
