Please come to the next GAPP meeting today after school in Room 213. We will be discussing our upcoming fundraiser and other ideas to offset the costs of our trip!

The Green Team is looking to collect clothing donations for our free thrift store. If you have clothes to donate, drop them at one of our bins or in Room 316 all this week.”

Multicultural Club members are selling Christmas wreath this year to raise money to go to Italy and Greece. In the Main Office you will find the Wreath order form, Price list, and Colors of the ribbons. You may place your order with multicultural club members, or you may email it to Madam Yadollahpour or leave your order in her mailbox. The wreaths will be delivered to PHS on Monday 12/12/22

“Have you ever wanted to learn how to play Dungeons and Dragons? Then you’re in luck! Mr. Carpenter-Kerr will be teaching an intro to D&D class. Reach out to him if you have questions.”

Are you interested in Law, Juvenile Justice, or just want to help make a difference by giving back to your own community? Join the Clinton County Youth Court!

Youth Court is a county run program that provides a unique opportunity to serve as members of a court for youth who have committed real offenses. All roles in the court room (Judge, Attorney, Clerk Bailiff, and Jury) are fulfilled by the members. Members earn community service credit hours for all their time participating with the Youth Court.

Clinton County Youth Court will be holding a 2 day new member training on Wednesday December 28th and Thursday December 29th. For more information, please visit the guidance office or keep your eye out for flyers and scan the QR code to fill out an application online!

The weather forecast for Friday and Saturday features atypical, concerning cold weather.  As you know, our district features a mix of modes of student commute to school, and a robust slate of co-curricular activities which are scheduled throughout the coming days.

Given the dangerous temperatures which are predicted, school on Friday, February 3rd, 2023 is cancelled, and an emergency closure day will be used.

Typically, when such emergency closures are made, co-curricular activities are similarly-cancelled.  For the most part, this will still be the case, but certain pre-arranged co-curricular activities will be allowed to proceed, so long as additional layers of safety/student protection are applied.  These considerations have been addressed with the Advisors.  So, unless students and parents receive a different communication from the Coach/Advisor, co-curricular activities are also cancelled tomorrow evening (February 3rd), and on Saturday, February 4th.
