Today is Monday, April 4th, 2022 and it is a B-Day!
Happy Birthday wishes today to Brady McCarty and Alexis Rabideau!
Belated Happy Birthday wishes to Declan Kelley, Liana LaVoie and Ty Calkins!
Select Vocal Ensemble will be meeting in the auditorium directly after school from 2:45 to 3:30. All SVE members are expected to be there.
Key Club and Student Association will be sponsoring a bake sale on Wednesday after school. All proceeds will go to support Ukraine.
April is Financial Literacy Month. Each day there will be a question of the day dealing with an area of Financial Literacy. The question will be asked at the beginning of the announcement and the answer will be provided at the end. If you are interested in additional information about the topic, send Ms. LaPierre a chat.

Good morning PHS! Do you like Krispy Kreme Donuts? If so, please support multicultural club’s fundraising event to support Ukraine’s refugees. Please place your order now with any multicultural club members until Wednesday April 6. Your orders will be available for pick up on Friday 4/8 in room 215. You pay $10 per dozen. Payment is due at the time of order. Please pay with cash or check made out to PHS-Multicultural Club. Thank you for your support.
There will be a Unified Basketball Meeting today, right after school in room 211. Please make sure you attend!
Any student that is planning to participate in the Explore day must attend the next after school CFES Meeting to register tomorrow. (April 5th) Additional information can be found on the PHS College and Career Readiness page. See Ms. LaPierre if you have any questions.
Are you looking for a berry good time this summer? Come learn how to make blueberry, strawberry, and raspberry jam this summer! Please check your class teams for the form to fill out and see Mrs. Bouayadi if you have any questions!
Just a reminder that BEEKEEPING and/or GARDENING will both start the first week in April until the end of the school year. Each activity will meet once a week, at Duken.
Students should contact slevaque@plattscsd.org and let me know which activity they are joining (they can join both) and what grade they’re in. Students will be provided with all needed materials.
There are two new learning opportunities for students that will start in April. The first learning opportunity will teach participants beekeeping. You will suit up in a beekeeper’s outfit and learn how to tend a hive with live honeybees!
The second learning opportunity will teach participants how to plan, design, and grow a garden. Participants will not only be taught how to grow a great garden filled with a variety of edible and non-edible plants, but they will also be able to share in the harvest of what is grown. If any of this sounds interesting to you then stop by the Guidance Office and pick up a flyer that explains more about each offering and tells you how to sign up.
