Plattsburgh City School District Providing Daily Breakfast/Lunch to Students
Beginning Tuesday, March 17, 2020 from 10:00am – 12:00pm (Monday – Friday)
Plattsburgh, NY – Due to the circumstances surrounding COVID-19 and subsequent school closure, beginning on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, the Plattsburgh City School District will provide a free breakfast and lunch for all students (Monday – Friday). Breakfast food and lunch fare will be bagged and placed outside of the main entrances of each of the following locations:
- Plattsburgh High School
- Stafford Middle School
- Momot Elementary School
- Oak Street Elementary School
- Bailey Ave. Elementary School
Each location will have a district employee present to ensure that bagged breakfasts/lunches are picked-up accordingly (i.e. one per child). Further, there will be ONE designated time period for students/parents/guardians to pick-up breakfast and lunch bags outside of their child’s school building which will be from 10:00am – 12:00pm. In an effort to make school lunches more accessible to our constituents, an additional location will be added for breakfast and lunch bags to be picked-up in the City of Plattsburgh at the Ted K Center (Plattsburgh Housing Authority).
