Essential Skills are personal abilities that help you perform better and interact better with people. Each month CFES will focus on a different Essential skill that will help all students with college and career readiness. This month’s essential skill is PERSEVERANCE. Perseverance is the determination to overcome challenges to achieve your goals. When something sets you back and you decide to keep pushing forward even when it would be easier to quit, that’s perseverance. Each month CFES will raffle off 2 movie passes to Cumberland 12 based on the Essential skills. Entry forms can be found outside of the guidance office, Ms. LaPierre’s room. (room 221) and the large study hall- room 226. The drawing will take place on the last school day of the month.

Attention students in AP courses, the November 15th deadline for AP exam money is approaching! Please contact your AP teacher or Mr. Piccirillo if you have any questions regarding AP exam payment.

The PHS German American Partnership Program is selling tickets for $20, good for a complete dinner at Mainely Lobster & Seafood. The event will be held Monday, November 11, 2019, 5-8 pm. Drama Club – Friday right after school there is a meeting for all Drama Club members including cast, set crew and costume crew in the auditorium. the meeting will brief and we need everyone to attend.
Sports Announcements:
Congratulations to the volleyball team on the sectional victory over Beekmantown last night. They move on to play Peru this Saturday at 3 p.m. in Saranac for the Class B championship!
Winter Sports clearances are wrapping up. Please hand yellow Health History forms and all other paperwork on Today so that you can start practicing next week.
The girls and boys Varsity Cross Country team will be released early tomorrow, 11/08/19, at 10:45 a.m.
