Overview: The purpose of this project is to challenge students to explore the ways in which Native Americans were pioneers in the areas of science, mathematics, civics, technology, ecology, medicine, art, music, literature, agriculture, architecture, and social justice. Evidence of Native American culture is seen in many areas if life today. This is a multidisciplinary research and discovery unit involving ELA, Social Studies, the Arts, Math, Science and computer Technology.
