Does Mass Matter?

Overview:
This unit is a multidisciplinary unit that will be used to build on the Trail Blazers homework philosophy and to enhance communication between home and school. Students will be introduced to concepts of measuring mass and the phases of matter. Thee will be hands-on activities using manipulatives, cooperative group centers, differentiated instruction opportunities, and experiences with presenting data analysis as an effective communicator. Materials sent home will contain reinforcement activities centered on problem solving, communication and content.
