MEASURE UP!

Grade Level: Grades Primary K-2

Overview:   The purpose of this unit is to capitalize on the early interest of young students in the real-world skills of comparing and measuring.  This unit will provide students with experiences with weight, length, capacity, duration and quantity.

The nature of these learning activities will encourager children to utilize mathematical vocabulary, communicate ideas, discuss thought processes and compare solutions.
