Extracurricular Activities:

Adventure Based Clubs:

ABC activites are offered two times per year for ten consecutive weeks. The first ten weeks are for students in second grade followed by a ten week program for first grade students. The club meets after school and is limited to thirty participants. The focus of ABC is to develop problem solving skills as students cooperate and work as members of a team. The club activity lasts until 3:30 pm each week.

January Clubs:

A variety of club programs are offered by staff and parent leaders, and sponsored by the FSA, after school of four consecutive Wednesdays in January. Clubs that are currently being offered include Gymnastics, Martial Arts, Quilting, Books Cooks, Crafts, Adventure Reading, Dance, Card Games and Seasons. All students in grades kindergarten through two are invited to sign up for a club of thier choice and asssigned to either thier first, second, or third pick, depending on space available. Clubs last until 3:20 pm each week.

Roller Skating:
The FSA also sponsors roller skating of Friday after school for ten weeks beginning in January. The cost is $1.00 per child and all Bailey Avenue stuents are invited to participate. Skates and Helmets are required. Roller Skating lasts until 3:30. Students may purchase a healthy snack or drink in the cafeteria after 3:15 pm.
